Hey, “Dead Leaves” is genuinely good (and definitely really interesting from an artistic perspective). My sister liked it. I mean, she claims it scarred her permanently and made her the bitter and twisted psychopath she is today, but she liked it.
Yes I agree you should spare us from Dead Leaves. If your looking for other suggestions of what to watch I would recommend Blue Submarine No. 6 (think last exile underwater, although I think we may be watching this during the semester), Macross Zero, or the Ah! My Goddess movie (if everyone hasn’t seen it already). I’m sure I would be down with anything Goseett would bring as well, and then we could make a vote when everyone gets here like the decisive group we all are, see ya all tomorrow!
