Bethel Anime Club

As you all know, there will be no scheduled Anime Club meeting over Thanksgiving break. Instead, it seemed some were interested in perhaps still getting together and watching a movie. If this is something you would be interested in, please send me a reply and let me know so I can figure out how many will be attending. I have no idea what we’ll be watching (its too bad Paprika is coming out on the 27th), or where it will be held at the moment, if you have any suggestions let me know in your reply.
Also, attached are the Anime Detour forms for pre-registration. Last year we did registration with another anime club, which was a pain, so instead of going through that again we will just do registration individually. This year it will be held April 4-6, at the Ramada near the MOA. Checks can be made out to Anime Twin Cities, and the cost will be $30 (as opposed to $50 at the door). Once you fill out your form and get your check, you can either give it to me at one of our meetings or just slip it in my PO (#2971). Detour is a really great experience, just as Matt F. and myself, both years we’ve gone have been a blast. Further info can be found on their website, http://www.animedetour.com/.

Hey All,
This is just your weekly reminder for Anime Club, 7pm in AC337. Last week we watched an episode of Rose of Versailles, come see what new series we will be sampling this week. Also, I’m almost done uploading up to episode 15 of Hayate to the server, so if you wanted to continue watching the series its avalaible for download, see you all tomorrow!

First, this is your weekly reminder to show up for Anime Club this Saturday, we may be even viewing some new series (and perhaps, even discussing them)!
Also, the Anime Club website is back on-line after being off for about a week, apparently a rodent had chewed through the cable line where the server is hosted. Later this weekend I’ll probably get the rest of Hayate uploaded along with the first few episodes of Gundam 00 for an extra treat. If you have any ideas to replace Hayate, we can either discuss that on Saturday or you can email Gossett or myself with your suggestions.

Anime Club attenders,
I think it is time to have a brief poll:
1. Are there any of the current series that you would like to have replaced?
2. Which of the current series should we definitely keep watching?
3. Would you like to watch 4 episodes instead of 5 and have a brief time of discussion? (I personally think this would be a very good idea.)
4. Would it be a good idea to always add a classic series to our mix?
(I have a great suggestion if this passes. There are also some great series we have watched in the past that could be recycled since most of you weren’t here when they were shown.)
