Hey all—

Forgot to mention that to celebrate our “Nyoro~n Churuya-san” showing this evening I’ll be bringing in some genuine smoked cheese (at least Gouda and Cheddar, and definitely Applewood if I can find it). BYO… uh, juice, or soda, or whatever. I suppose that even if you come late and miss “Churuya-san” you can still eat some smochi.

Churuya-san herself will of course not be allowed to consume any smoked cheese.

The Bethel Anime Club Fall Semester Meetings Saturdays, AC 337, 7:00pm

Hey guys—

I have received special dispensation from our current President to make a small (but cute!) modification to tonight’s schedule. Instead of “Hetalia” and “Death Note,” we’ll be having a super 22-minute marathon of all 13 episodes of “Nyoro~n Churuya-san”! Despite its marginal association with “The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya,” this small, cute standalone show about a small, cute lover of smoked cheese and the big people who torment her has a style all its own. It is small, and also cute, and is guaranteed to make you smile even as you feel moderately sorry for its poor heroine. Don’t miss it!

Hey gang, after two weeks of special meetings we are back to the usual set up. For anyone who missed last week, we watched a few new shows (Urusei Yatsura, Vampire Princess Miyu, and Soul Eater).

The first two are licensed (to my knowledge), but Funimation, who bought the rights to Soul Eater, has been kind enough to upload the first half of the series on their website, so if you are interested check it out!

Lol, I’m sure I’m the only person who knows who that is XD He voices Ed in Fullmetal Alchemist, Tamaki in Ouran High School Host Club, Fai in Tsubasa Resevoir Chronicles, etc. He’s going to voice Death Scythe, Maka’s father.)

That aside, we’re meeting same time, same place this week (7pm in 337), and we’re back to our regular shows (Hetalia, Death Note, Gakuen Alice, Mushi-Shi, Moribito, and RomeoxJuliet)
