Break The Spring!

Bet you thought you could make it all of Spring Break without hearing from me, didn’t ya? Well, you can’t! >D
I’ve had a rather productive break, running around trying to find books for my Chaucer paper, meeting up with old friends, being very, VERY sick… *coughs* I haven’t done nearly as much anime watching as I would have liked…just the basic Fullmetal Alchemist: The Brotherhood episode on Cartoon Network, and then a little bit of Bleach for a good laugh… XD
OH! By the way, I’m going to shamelessly plug for a little series called Durarara!!, which was introduced to me by Matt Fisher (eh, sorry if I misspelled your name -_-; ). Written by the same person who created Baccano! and Spice and Wolf, it’s an odd little tale about a bunch of quirky people in Ikebukuro, and the various mischief they are involved it (a lot like Baccano!’s way of intertwining stories, but with a significantly smaller cast, a greater suspension of disbelief, and, somehow, it’s a lot easier to understand). It’s pretty big in the anime community right now. I’m rather enjoying it myself, although I’m angered by something I recently discovered about one of the main characters (ugh…what a useless twist…)
AND GUESS WHAT! This week’s episode had a cameo appearance from Baccano!’s very own Isaac and Miria!! They appear in the crowd of people, being their usual, nonsensical selves >w< Take a look here:
Anyway, I guess that’s my useless trivia for you…Axis Powers Hetalia Season 3 starts on March 26th, for anyone following it online…and Michael Jackson died…(WHUT, NO WAI)
Just a heads up, Anime Club will be starting up again on the 27th, regular time, regular place. I’ve decided to, from here on out, switch off what shows we repeat in the order we watch them in. So next time we will watch 2 episodes of RomeoxJuliet, then Gakuen Alice, then Mushi-Shi, then Moribito, etc. Hopefully we can get everything done in time!
