Yugo the Negotiator

Yugo Negotiating

“There is always room for negotiation.” Even when you’re strapped to a table in the glaring sun with someone holding a knife to your abdomen—so long as your name is Yugo, and you’re a professional negotiator.

Yugo travels the world negotiating in all sorts of sticky situations, driven by the memory of an old wound and a slightly egocentric personality (as well as the obvious financial benefits). In his first case of the series, the daughter of a Japanese businessman who has been taken hostage in Pakistan asks Yugo to negotiate the safe release of her father, and Yugo must deal with blazing tempers and temperatures as he makes his way towards the hideout of the guerrillas who have taken the hostage.

Negotiator Yugo is a highly realistic, tense, and politically relevant show filled with intrigue, suspense, and slightly weird character designs. It’s 13 episodes, and I will use a briefer description format (without images, alas, alas) since I neither own it nor have seen it before…
